Privacy notice
AeroGuide Hub is a static-style content site built on open aviation data. We do not require you to register or sign in, and we do not collect personal information directly through the website beyond what you choose to submit through the contact form.
Contact form data
When you submit the contact form, we store your message, the optional name and reply-to email you provided, the page URL the form was loaded from, your IP address (used only for spam and abuse handling) and a timestamp. Submissions are written to the server filesystem so an editor can read and respond, and are retained only as long as needed to act on the request. We do not enrol the email address into any mailing list.
Server logs
Our hosting environment may keep standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for operational and security reasons. These logs are not used to build advertising profiles.
Advertising
When advertising slots on this site are filled, ad partners may set cookies or use similar technologies in line with their own privacy policies. Where required, an explicit consent banner will be shown.
Third-party links
We link to airport operator websites, airline pages and other reference sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave AeroGuide Hub. We do not control or audit third-party tracking, and we encourage readers to review the privacy notices of any external service before submitting personal information.
Cookies
AeroGuide Hub itself does not set tracking cookies. If a future feature requires a cookie (for example, to remember a preferred unit of measurement or a closed cookie-consent banner), it will be a first-party cookie strictly necessary for that feature. We do not sell, rent or share any reader data with data brokers.
Children
AeroGuide Hub is a general-audience travel reference. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Parents and guardians who believe a child has provided personal information should contact us so we can investigate and remove it.
Data retention and security
Operational request logs are kept only as long as needed for security monitoring and abuse investigation, typically a few weeks, after which they are rotated and discarded. Contact-form submissions are pruned once handled. Hosting is on Replit infrastructure, which provides transport encryption (HTTPS) and standard application isolation.
Your rights
Because we do not maintain reader accounts or marketing databases, there is no personal profile for us to export, correct or delete. If you submitted a contact-form message and want it removed before it has been actioned, send a follow-up through the same form referencing the original page and approximate date and we will delete it. If you believe a published guide contains personal information about you that should not be there, contact us and we will review and act promptly.
Updates to this notice
We may update this privacy notice as the site evolves, for example when adding analytics, search or commenting features. Material changes will be summarised at the top of this page with the effective date.
